Description

We tend to think of insects as pests or nuisances. However, in many ways, insects are just like us. They exhibit elaborate mating rituals, a variety of parenting styles, and a plethora of careers—from architects and engineers, to farmers and ranchers. In Part 2 we learn about insects as parasites, recyclers, as research, insects in art, literature and film, those that fly and others that adapt to aquatic life, their sounds, and how we share planet earth.

No class Nov. 22.     See course #210 for Part 1 of 2.
