Description

Hurricanes are one of nature’s most awe-inspiring, yet devastating, phenomena. This course will give you a primer in hurricane science: when and where they occur, how they form, how they gain strength, how they decay, how we predict them, and how a changing climate may impact them in the future. Your instructor is a professor of Atmospheric Sciences at UW-Milwaukee and has published over 20 research papers, including ones on tropical storms and hurricanes.
