Description

Six beer barons with connections to Milwaukee, Chicago and San Francisco have had ties to Geneva Lake. Your instructor is with the Wisconsin Historical Society and will highlight the history of the beer barons that vacationed and lived along the shores of Geneva, including Conrad Seipp, the former owner of Black Point Estates and Gardens. Introduce yourself to the barons of Geneva Lake and the four major brewers in Milwaukee. In this illustrated presentation learn the difference between ale and lager beer, the basics of brewing in the19th century and the brewers’ response to Prohibition.
