Description

Your instructor has 37 years’ experience as a teacher and is still a prolific reader of military history. He brings his wealth of knowledge and material to enhance The Great Courses DVD series presented by General Wesley Clark. Part 1 focused on early conflicts, small wars of necessity and wars of choice. In Part 2, General Clark continues with the study of World War II from the bombing of Pearl Harbor to the atomic bomb on Japan. He goes on to discuss the wars in Korea and Vietnam. Clark concludes by covering our involvement in Panama, Grenada, Kuwait, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as the war on terrorism.
