Description

How could a girl who arrived from Czechoslovakia at age eleven become Secretary of State of the most powerful country in the world? Come and learn about her exciting life journey—as a child in war-torn Europe, a young immigrant intent on becoming a typical American teenager, a mother with a passion for politics, and an outspoken- tell-it-like-it-is-skilled diplomat dedicated to human rights and democracy. I have always been impressed by how women become leaders, and I enjoy sharing with others their numerous contributions to our society.
