Genealogy has become a popular hobby, especially among us “seniors.” Whether you are interested simply in learning who your ancestors were, trying to verify a family legend, learning about your family’s medical history, or discovering your links to history, you will learn many facets of genealogy. We will cover what to look for, where to find (and verify) information, how to record it for yourself and your family, and more. We go beyond just the basics of birth, marriage, and death statistics, to be able to “flesh out” details that help us see our ancestors as real people.
